Amy Hayashida was born and raised on the island of Oahu.  She grew up on the windward side of Oahu in Kahaluu, Kaneohe. She is a graduate of Castle High School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She loves doing community service and charity work, and eventually plans on making a scholarship fund.  She is also working on a public awareness venture dealing with mercury, and providing the public with information for their safety as well as their children.  Look out for Mercury411.com which should be totally finished by this spring!
